About the Event

The Career Day event held at British International School, Lagos, was organised to provide students with structured exposure to career opportunities, professional pathways and future workplace expectations.

“Preparing Students for the Future of Work.”

The event served as a platform for bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world career demands. Students received direct guidance from professionals working across law, medicine, business, technology and the creative industries.

Through career talks, panel discussions and interest-based breakout sessions, participants gained practical information about educational pathways, career progression, workplace realities, emerging careers, digital skills and emotional intelligence.

The event recorded more than 180 students, 12 guest professionals, over 20 members of school staff and a 95% student participation rate.
